The Blue Mountain Summit 2013 was a huge success! This was our second annual conference and this year the customer interaction during the Summit was the big benefit. From the presentations to the panel, our customers truly made this Summit not only a huge success, but also a think-tank of industry related ideas involving productivity, compliance and ROI.
Keynote by David Berger on CMMS & ROI
Our keynote speaker, David Berger of Western Management Consultants, kicked off the Summit by discussing how to get more from your CMMS. Berger shared unique ideas on what drives ROI and how to fully utilize your CMMS to maximize your bottom line. Berger also led a Panel Discussion with three customers and myself. Our customers shared great ideas and provided valuable feedback on our Blue Mountain RAM product.
MAQUET and B. Braun Medical Discuss Productivity
Day one focused on productivity and contained presentations by Stephen Mack of MAQUET, Jeff Sedor of B. Braun Medical and the Blue Mountain team. We heard directly from Jeff about going paperless and from Stephen on how to utilize features of Blue Mountain RAM software to gain enormous productivity. The energy from day one carried over into the evening happy hour and dinner.
Compliance and ROI Strategies from Actavis and United Therapeutics
Compliance and ROI carried the way on day two as we started the morning with presentations on GMP and regulatory trends. The day ended with how to configure your Blue Mountain RAM system to generate maximum ROI for your company. We heard from members of the Blue Mountain team as well as Carlos Santo of Actavis on multisite implementations and Earlene Gibbons of United Therapeutics on meeting compliance with Blue Mountain RAM. Bill Lucas of Blue Mountain revealed simple tricks to integrating Active Directory, utilizing RAM data in Excel for business intelligence capabilities and multi-cycle scheduling.
Interactive Workshops for Blue Mountain RAM and Calibration Manager Customers
On day three of the Summit, Calibration Manager and Blue Mountain RAM customers earned individual attention with two different morning tracks. We held workshop discussions with customers to hear about Building the Business Case for Blue Mountain RAM Best Practices Template, Preparing for your R3 Upgrade, Everything You Wanted to Know About Workflows, and Getting the Most Out of Blue Mountain RAM. These lively workshops actively engaged audience members and sparked further conversation.
Over the three days, we were thrilled at the interaction and networking between customers. The early feedback was that these discussions of new ideas, industry trends and challenges were one of the most valuable parts of the Summit. We’re confident these new connections will foster the road for future discussion and on-going relationships.
