James Erickson
Founder, President and CEOJim Erickson founded Blue Mountain Quality Resources in 1989 after working in the medical device engineering and manufacturing industry. A bioengineer by education and experience, Jim used his talent, entrepreneurial spirit and teamwork to create an industry-standard product that has garnered a worldwide following. Jim’s goal is to continue to develop innovative products and services that produce value for his customers. An active community leader, Jim is also a private pilot. He enjoys bicycling and traveling with his wife and two children.

William Taliaferro
Director of Global Sales (since 2001)Bill has more than 30 years in life science sales and marketing. He joined Blue Mountain after serving as national sales manager for two medical device manufacturers. Within three years, he had led the sales team to its highest levels since the company’s founding. A member of the ISPE and the NCSLI Healthcare Committee, Bill sets goals, identifies key opportunities, develops effective sales strategies. Bill is active in his church and community and spends as much time as possible with his daughters and their families.

Scott Fry
Director of Professional Services (since 2004)When Scott joined Blue Mountain, he brought with him years of education and experience in information systems and technology. He is responsible for overseeing all implementation, quality and technical support groups for Blue Mountain. By ensuring that client needs are met and their software implementations are successful, Scott has created professional services teams that Blue Mountain customers view as industry experts. Scott enjoys spending time with his family and is a certified canine search specialist for federal agencies.

Randolph Paroda
Director of Product Development (since 1998)Randy’s role at Blue Mountain involves leading the software development team as they generate leading-edge applications for their customers. A former systems engineer and software developer with an advanced degree in engineering, Randy is also head of the Blue Mountain product advisory board. He values collaboration and personal growth among his team, and he educates his colleagues on the technical aspects of Blue Mountain products. A board member for his hometown’s Little League, Randy enjoys fly fishing, hunting and traveling in his spare time.

Lisa Bowman
Director of Office Management (since 2000)A certified Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR), Lisa is responsible for human resources, office space management, and accounts payable and receivable. She also coordinates Blue Mountain’s community volunteer activities, which include helping organizations such as Special Olympics, the United Way, and the YMCA. Lisa has improved the retention of the company’s highly skilled employees and created a mechanism for recruiting and training for professional service positions. She spends her spare time mountain biking, hiking and gardening.
