Software Field Engineer

Field Engineers determine the best use of technology and business processes and perform professional services on our software.
Extensive travel is required for this position. On-site assignments usually vary between 3 days and 3 weeks in length.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years education or work experience in Information Technology and Network Infrastructure.
- 2+ years education or work experience with MS Windows, N-Tier environments, database applications (MSSQL and Oracle 9I).
- Must have strong hands-on technical skills and be able to work independently to solve technical issues.
- Must be able to work in a team with technical support staff while maintaining a positive attitude and experience for customers.
- Must be quick to learn new concepts and to adapt to a customer's needs
- Must possess excellent written, verbal and technical skills.
- Must possess excellent customer relations, communication and people skills.
- 70% travel required; must have the ability to obtain a valid passport, driver’s license and travel both throughout the US and internationally.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, engineering or physical science discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year education or work experience with implementing calibration or maintenance systems.
- 1+ year education or work experience with training or teaching.
